These are premium heim joints for those of you looking for maximum durability, consistency, and smoothness in your legend car. These Heims may look similar to others from the outside, but they have a very durable self lubricating and cleaning liner that allows these heims to have no slop or play, while maintaining minimal friction. Due to the self cleaning capabilities Slater Racing has found these heims to be the longest lasting and most consistent as far as holding a tight tolerance and staying smooth.

  Here at Slater Racing we have done extensive load testing with every brand and style of legal Legend and Bandolero Heim we could get our hands on. These here are the best Heims out of dozens we have tested. A Heim has to do more than just move freely, it has to do so under the extreme loads your suspension and steering components experience on the race track. That is where these inner lined, self lubricating, low friction Heims excel. The XL stands for Extreme Load, and due to that extra strength is why these heims stay so smooth under high stress. These are NOT the same as our cheaper gold heims, or any other gold heim others sell.
